Myriam Mihindou

Born in 1964 in Libreville, Gabon. Lives in Paris

A multi-disciplinary artist, Myriam Mihindou is interested in the «blues of the soul» and the impregnation of our living territories. Her commitment to environmental and feminist causes brings an undeniable political dimension to her current work. She is the winner of the Aware Nouveau regard 2022 award. Her work has beeń presented́ in several solo exhibitions in France and abroad and̀ at numerous group shows, including the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art, Washington (2014), MAC/VAL, Vitry-sur-Seine, CAPC Bordeaux ( 2021).... His most recent performances have beeń shown at the Venice Biennale, Palazzo Rossini ( 2017), Centre Pompidou (2019), Musée d'art moderne et contemporain de Strasbourg (2019), Musée d'art moderne et contemporain de Saint-Etienne (2019), for “La vie Bonne” (CNAP / AWARE, 2020) and CAPC Bordeaux (2021).
